Itasca County soil survey books are available for free through our office and provide information on the soil types and interpretations in your area. Stop by our office to pick up your soil survey.
Soil Testing Kits
The Itasca SWCD helps administer the University of Minnesota's Soil Testing Program by providing landowners with the soil gathering equipment. Samples are then mailed by the landowner to the University of Minnesota where the testing is completed. Stop by our office to pick up your soil testing kit, or call us for more information.
