Cost share assistance may be available to landowners undergoing shoreline and stream bank stabilization and erosion control. Examples of such projects are rock riprap and shoreline re-vegetation. Check with our office to see whether you qualify for cost share money. Even if cost share money is not available for your project, the SWCD can provide you with technical assistance.
Sustainable Forestry Initiative Act

Well Sealing
Well sealing cost-share assistance is available for landowners who meet certain criteria defined by the State of Minnesota. Contact our office for a list of criteria and to find out whether you are eligible for this program.
Low Interest Septic Loans
The Itasca SWCD helps administer the Agricultural Best Management Practices (AgBMP) Loan Program for septic system upgrades. AgBMP loans provide low interest financing to landowners to implement practices that prevent or reduce nonpoint source pollution.
